Last week, momstown families got a big surprise when they were introduced to the new site for their Junior Chef Program! A brand new kitchen was recently installed into the momstown headquarters, at 100 Station Street in downtown Belleville. The new momstown kitchen has been eagerly anticipated for months now. Yet, now the dream has become a reality as last week’s Program Pass Holders cooked up a ‘snowstorm’ in their new facility. You really must come see out and see our new kitchen! Well, Ontario’s apple season has officially come to a close. But, that doesn’t mean the end of apples for us! If you are like me, you still have quite a bountiful supply of them in storage. They may either be tucked away in our cellars, in a cardboard box or basket, or I have even heard of storing them for 2-3 months, wrapped individually in newspaper pieces! Wherever you need to dig them out of, gather up four or five apples (and kids- if that pertains to you!), and head on into the kitchen to make a special apple treat together!
